Developing Strength in Leadership and Teaching Programme

Who is the programme suitable for?

The programme is suitable for groups and federations of schools, and groups of schools within MATs. It can be completed by individual schools.

It is anticipated that a range of leaders, including new and aspiring leaders, plus governors and trust leaders, would participate in the programme.

What is the programme structure?

• Delivered across three phases (usually school terms).
• 1 face to face training day per phase for leaders from across the network group.*
• 1 face to face support day provided in school per phase.*
• Up to 7 hours of interim remote support per phase, provided through video conferencing.

*During the COVID pandemic face to face training may delivered through online video conferecing, and in school support days may also be delivered through online meetings in negotiation with the individual schools and suitable risk assessment.
