Course Summary:
The Distributing and Layering Leadership course is facilitated, blending online tutorials, with digital resources, and practical in-school activity. I will be your course tutor, and between the online tutorials I will provide you with ongoing support and feedback as your participation in the course builds.
The course will provide you with materials to stimulate your thinking about how leadership is effectively distributed within an organisation, and will provide you with coaching to ensure that the distribution and layering of leadership in your school is supporting you to achieve highly effective outcomes.
The course is suitable for senior leaders, headteachers, executive headteachers and governors.

Introduction to relevant research, and an opportunity to reflect on how effectively this research is already embedded within the school's everyday practice.
Weeks 3-4
Introduction to the Distribution and Layering resources from the Four Threads for School Improvement resources, including the best practice statements and the associated leadership behaviours.
Weeks 5-6
Supporting you to plan for evaluation and review of Distribution and Layering in your school - including planning professional learning conversations with team members.
