Course Summary:
The Managing Change course is facilitated, blending online tutorials, with digital resources, and practical in-school activity. I will be your course tutor, and between the online tutorials I will provide you with ongoing support and feedback as your participation in the course builds.
The course will provide you with materials to stimulate your thinking about methods and approaches for managing change, and will provide you with coaching to ensure that your own management of change can be highly effective. Changing other people's habits can be hard, but it doesn't have to be impossible!
The course is suitable for middle leaders and senior leaders who are likely to need to lead change , and for headteachers, and executive headteachers who might want to refresh their knowledge and understanding.

Weeks 1-2
Introduction to relevant research, and an opportunity to reflect on how effectively this research is already embedded within the participant's and the school's everyday practice.
Weeks 3-4
Introduction to the Managing Change resources from the Four Threads for School Improvement resources, including the best practice statements and the associated leadership behaviours.
Weeks 5-6
Supporting you to plan for evaluation and review of Managing Change in your school - including planning professional learning conversations with team members.
